In the One Hundred and Ninety-Second General Court

An Act relative to commuter transit benefits.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 1 of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in subsection (c), by inserting after the figure “106,” the following  figures:-   132(f)

SECTION 2. Section 3 of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in subparagraph (15) of subsection (b), by striking the words “weekly or monthly transit commuter passes for Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority transit, bus, commuter rail or commuter boat” and inserting in its place the following:- “Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority or Regional Transit Authority transit, bus, commuter rail or commuter boat fares, or for a bikeshare membership or for a bicycle including electric bikes, bicycle improvements, repair, and storage,”

SECTION 3. Section 3 of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in subparagraph (15) of subsection (b), by striking the figure $150 each time it appears and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$50”.
