An Act relative to commercial vehicle warranties.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 174C is hereby amended by inserting after Section 3 the following section:-
Section 3A. Commercial vehicles shall be afforded the same rights and protections pursuant to 15 U.S.C 2301, otherwise known as the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act. For the purpose of this section, “commercial vehicles” shall be defined as any motor vehicle which is not a private passenger motor vehicle, antique motor car, motorcycle, auto home, house trailer, taxicab, ambulance, hearse, livery vehicle, bus, school bus or pupil transport vehicle.
