An Act relative to water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

As a matter of public safety, the Board of Examiners of Plumbers and Gasfitters will be authorized to oversee and set standards for piping work carried out in connection with systems of water treatment plants and systems, as well as piping work carried out in connection with waste water treatment plants and systems. All such work will be deemed the work of licensed plumbers, and will be inspected by the plumbing inspector of the authority having jurisdiction.
