An Act promoting fairness in the rendering of dwelling accommodation services.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 87DDD½ of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- No licensed broker or salesperson shall charge a tenant a fee for services relating to finding a dwelling accommodation or for any other service unless the tenant has sought out and hired that broker or salesperson to provide the tenant with such services.
