An Act relative to the study of traffic in East Bridgewater.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. There shall be a special commission to study the traffic and safety patterns at the intersection of Bedford Street (“RT 18”), Central Street, Spring Street, and Maple Avenue in the town of East Bridgewater. The commission shall consist of 7 members: 2 members of the House of Representatives, 1 of whom shall be appointed by the House Minority Leader; 2 members of the Senate, 1 of whom shall be appointed by the Senate Minority Leader; the Secretary of the Department of Transportation or a designee; and 2 members to be appointed by the Governor.
SECTION 2. The commission shall file its findings and recommendations with the chairs of the Joint Committee on Transportation and the Clerk of the House of Representatives and the Clerk of the Senate no more than six months following the passage of this bill.
