An Act relative to penalties for unlawful passing of a school bus.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 14 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 30 to 33, inclusive, the words: “$250; and for a second offense by a fine of not less than $500 nor more than $1,000; and for a third or subsequent offense by a fine of not less than $1,000 nor more than $2,000” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- $350; and for a second offense by a fine of not less than $600 nor more than $1,100; and for a third or subsequent offense by a fine of not less than $1,100 nor more than $2,100.
