An Act relative to housing for veterans.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The fifth paragraph of section 32 of chapter 121B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- In determining the net income for the purpose of computing the rent of a veteran, as defined in clause 43 of section 7 of chapter 4, the housing authority shall deduct from such income calculation the monthly costs associated with transportation to and from medical care for such veteran.
