An Act authorizing the town of Deerfield to continue the employment of police department members Robert Warger, Joseph Mieczkowski, and Raymond Burniske.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Robert Warger, Joseph Mieczkowski, and Raymond Burniske, members of the police department of the town of Deerfield, may continue in the position until they reach 70 years of age, the date of their retirement or until their non-reappointment, whichever first occurs; provided, however, that deductions from the regular compensation of Robert Warger, Joseph Mieczkowski, and Raymond Burniske shall not be made pursuant to chapter 32 of the General Laws for any service subsequent to their reaching the age of 65 in connection with his service to the town for retirement or pension purposes.
