An Act waiving the fee for an annual caterer’s license due to the COVID-19 emergency.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding section 12C of chapter 238 of the General Laws or any general or special law to the contrary, no person shall be required to pay the annual caterer’s license fee required by said section 12C for the calendar year 2021. Any person who has paid such fee shall be entitled to a refund of such fee from the alcoholic beverages control commission. Such refund by the commission shall be an expenditure from monies received by the commonwealth from the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act or any amendment thereto due to the COVID-19 emergency.
