By Mr. Livingstone of Boston, a petition (subject to Joint Rule 12) of Jay D. Livingstone that a certain playground on the Esplanade in the city of Boston be designated as the Gronk playground.  Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture.

An Act designating a certain playground on the Esplanade in the city of Boston as the Gronk Playground.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1. The former Charlesbank Playground located on the Esplanade in the city of Boston shall be designated and known as “Gronk Playground” in recognition of the time and resources the Gronk Nation Youth Foundation has dedicated to inspiring youth to reach their maximum potential through sports, education, community and fitness.

Section 2. After consultation with the department of conservation and recreation, the Esplanade Association may erect and maintain suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
