An Act promoting renewable energy.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 11F of chapter 25A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 16 and 17, the words “and (3) an additional 1 per cent of sales every year thereafter.” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- (3) an additional 2 per cent of sales every year thereafter until December 31, 2023; (4) an additional 4 per cent of sales every year thereafter until December 31, 2025; (5) an additional 5 per cent of sales every year thereafter until December 31, 2027; (6) an additional 7 per cent of sales every year thereafter until December 31, 2031; (8) an additional 8 per cent of sales every year thereafter until December 31, 2034; (9) and an additional 10 percent of sales until December 31, 2035.
