An Act restoring an increase in the membership of the Board of Health in the city of Framingham.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 26 of chapter 111 of the General Laws, and the repeal of chapter 126 of the acts of 2016 through the adoption of the Framingham Home Rule Charter, as approved by the voters on April 4, 2017, the Board of Health of the City of Framingham shall consist of five members, serving staggered terms of three years.
SECTION 2. The initial terms of the two new members of the Board of Health of the City of Framingham added pursuant to section 1 shall be two years and three years, respectively.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
