An Act relative to home inspectors.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. By written agreement, any Home Inspector, Associate Home Inspector, or Trainee Home Inspector, licensed or in training pursuant to Chapter 112, may be affiliated with and perform inspections for a home inspector or a home inspection company as an independent contractor, and paid on a commission-only basis, and such Home Inspector, Associate Home Inspector, or Trainee Home Inspector shall not be considered an employee of the affiliated home inspector or home inspection company pursuant to Chapter 149 s.148B, or any other statue.
