An Act relative to a conservation restriction in the town of Hanson.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  The conservation commission and the board of selectmen of the town of Hanson may amend the conservation restriction imposed pursuant to the fourth paragraph of that order of taking dated February 25, 1975 and recorded in the Plymouth county registry of deeds in book 4050, pages 355 to 357, inclusive, as may be applied to a portion of said parcel of land, being 8.5 acres of the 62-acre parcel, and more particularly described on that plan recorded at the Plymouth county registry of deeds in plan book 66, page 46 by adding the following paragraph:

Provided however, 8.5 acres of said parcel as more fully described on that plan recorded at the Plymouth county registry of deeds in plan book 66, page 46 shall be used as conservation land and well head area purposes.

SECTION2.  The conservation commission and the board of selectmen or their designees of the town of Hanson shall take all actions they deem necessary or advisable in their sole discretion to carry out the amendment of the conservation restriction and acceptance of a revised conservation restriction as set forth in this act including, without limitation, the execution of all documents relative thereto.

SECTION 3.  As consideration for the change in the conservation restriction authorized in section 1, the town of Hanson shall, pursuant to section 3 of chapter 40 of the General Laws, transfer the care, custody and control of a certain of a 25.403 acre parcel identified as Assessors Map 49, Parcel 1-1A and a 21,780 SF parcel identified as Assessors Map 105, Parcel 6 from the board of selectmen to the conservation commission for the purpose of wildlife, recreation, and forestry.
