An Act relative to changing the Swansea Water District Commissioner election and term.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 137 of the Acts of 1949, Section 9, as amended, by inserting the words set forth below after the words "elected by ballot for the term of three years" in the first sentence.
"from the day of election. The term concluding in 2022 shall conclude on the day of the 2022 election; the term concluding in 2023 shall conclude on the day of 2023 election; and the term concluding 2024 shall conclude on the day of the 2024 election"
