An Act granting certain creditable service to Bernard Wheeler, an employee of the Boston Municipal Court.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 32 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the state board of retirement shall credit Bernard Wheeler, an employee of the Boston municipal court, with an additional retirement benefit of 4 years of creditable service, for the purpose of determining his superannuation retirement allowance pursuant to subdivision (2) of section 5 of chapter 32 of the General Laws. Notwithstanding the credit, the total normal yearly amount of the retirement allowance shall not exceed 80 per cent of the average annual rate of his regular compensation as determined in accordance with said subdivision (2) of said section 5 of said chapter 32.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
