By Representative Arciero of Westford and Senator Kennedy, a joint petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 4704) of James Arciero (by vote of the town) that the town of Westford be authorized to further regulate the issuance of certain licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises in said town. Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure. [Local Approval Received.] |

An Act relative to Chapter 26 of the Acts of 2021.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1:
Chapter 26 of the Acts of 2021 is hereby amended by replacing subparagraph (e) thereof of Section 1 by the following:-
(e) One of the licenses granted under this act shall be issued within 1 year after January 30, 2023 and the second license granted under this act shall be issued within 2 years after January 30, 2023; provided, however, that a license originally granted within that time period may be granted to a new applicant under subsection (c) or (d) any time thereafter.
