An Act relative to exempting restaurants from state sales taxes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general provisions or special laws to the contrary, restaurant owners shall be permitted to keep all collected state sales taxes, except for taxes collected under section 2 of chapter 64L of the general laws, or be reimbursed by the state, if said taxes were paid for the time period of March 15, 2020 to February 3, 2021.
