An Act requiring comprehensive testing at Mass vaccination sites.

 

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to which is to provide immediate COVID-19 testing to employees of mass vaccination sites, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health.
 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1. All employees, contractors, vendors, and volunteers of state-funded mass vaccination sites shall be provided with and take a COVID-19 rapid antigen test before entering the mass vaccination site. Individual employees, contractors, vendors, and volunteers must produce a negative test before entering a site at the start of each work day. Managers of the mass vaccination site shall be responsible for providing tests and ensuring that only those who test negative for COVID-19 enter the site.

Section 2. All employees, contractors, and volunteers who are engaged in the vaccine administration process at state-funded mass vaccination sites shall be provided with and take a COVID-19 PCR test at least once per week. Managers of the mass vaccination site shall be responsible for providing tests and ensuring that only those who test negative for COVID-19 enter the site.
