An Act relative to the maximum age requirement for original appointment as a police officer in the town of Dedham.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding sections 58 and 58A or any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary regulating the maximum age of an applicant for original appointment as police officer, Jonathan Dillon shall be allowed to have his civil service test results considered by the town of Dedham for appointment to the position of police officer and, if he meets all other requirements, he shall be eligible for certification and appointment to the police department of the town of Dedham.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage or take any other action relative thereto.
