An Act authorizing the town of Wellesley to grant certain licenses for the temporary sale of alcoholic beverages.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding sections 11 and 11A of chapter 138 of the General Laws, section 2 chapter 635 of the acts of 1982, or any other special or general law to the contrary, the local licensing authority of the town of Wellesley may grant special licenses for the sale of wines and malt beverages only, or either of them, to the responsible manager of any indoor or outdoor activity or enterprise pursuant to section 14 of said chapter 138.  Such licenses shall be subject to the provisions of section 3 of said chapter 635 of the acts of 1982.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
