An Act relating to the retirement classification of certain employees of the town of Belmont.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding paragraph (g) of subdivision (2) of section 3 of chapter 32 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, employees of the town of Belmont employed as public safety communications dispatchers, supervisors or operations managers who were hired on or before January 1, 2022 shall be classified by the Belmont retirement board in Group 2.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
