An Act amending the state seal and motto commission.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith an amendment to the seal and motto commission, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 89 of chapter 102 of the acts of 2021, as amended by section 11 of chapter 22 of the acts of 2022, is hereby further amended by striking out the words “December 31, 2022”, both times they appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- November 15, 2023.
