An Act relative to postage paid absentee ballots.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 87 of chapter 54 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “envelopes.”, In the lines 15 through 16, the following words:
Postage required for mailing the envelope to the appropriate city or town clerk shall be paid in advance by the secretary of the commonwealth.
