An Act to strengthen notifications in the Wetlands Protection Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 40 of Chapter 131 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by in paragraph 2 by replacing "abutters within one-hundred feet" with the following-
abutters within five-hundred feet
SECTION 2. Section 40 of Chapter 131 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby further amended in paragraph 2 by replacing "100 feet" with the following-
500 feet
