An Act providing for timely reimbursement of cities and towns for veterans’ benefits.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

The fourth sentence of section 6 of chapter 115 of the General Laws, as amended by section 25 of the acts of 2018, is hereby further amended by striking out the words “on or before November tenth in the year after such expenditures” and inserting in place thereof the words:- no later than 6 months after the date on which such expenditures are certified by the commissioner.
