An Act relative to recovery homes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Nothwithstanding any special or general law to the contrary, any proposal for a recovery home or 'sober home' shall be subject to a public hearing. Said public hearings shall be publicly noticed, including but not limited to direct notification of abutters within 200 feet, not less than 45 days before the date of the hearing and administered by the Department of Public Health.
