An Act relative to supporting geographically isolated small farms.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
The food protection program within the department of public health shall establish a pilot program to provide livestock slaughtering and processing options to geographically isolated island communities that will allow for the commercial sale of the product of such operations to be sold within the Commonwealth.
