An Act relative to school immunization requirements.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
The first sentence of Section 15 of Chapter 76 of the General Laws is hereby amended by deleting the words “and poliomyelitis and such other communicable diseases as may be specified from time to time by the department of public health” and inserting, after the word “measles”, the following words “, mumps, rubella, poliomyelitis, haemophilus influenzae type B, hepatitis B, varicella and meningitis, with required dosages of each immunization for each age group specified in regulations promulgated by the department of public health following a public hearing in accordance with the requirements of Section 2 of Chapter 30A.”.
