An Act relative to promotion eligibility of surviving children of those killed in the line of duty.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Subsection (b) of section 26 of chapter 22C of the General Laws, as amended by section 57 of chapter 253 of the Acts of 2020, is hereby amended by inserting after the words “who is a veteran” the following:- “or a child of a uniformed member who was killed or sustained injuries which resulted in death while in the performance of such member’s duties”.
