An Act relative to state reserve of personal protective equipment.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary the executive office of health and human services in consultation with the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency shall develop a plan to ensure adequacy of supply of personal protective equipment for health care facilities and public safety facilities in the commonwealth. Said plan shall include but not be limited to developing a reasonable projection of need and adequacy of personal protective equipment, conducting an assessment of personal protective equipment at health care facilities and public safety facilities, and developing the framework for acquisition and distribution of personal protective equipment. Said plan shall be completed within eight months of passage of this act. 

Said plan shall be submitted to the clerks of the house and senate and subject to appropriation the executive office of health and human services in consultation with the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency shall implement said plan.
