An Act banning the advertisement of alcohol and marijuana on billboards.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 4 of chapter 94G of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 239, the word “, billboard”.

SECTION 2. Said section 4 of said chapter 94G, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 271, the word “and”.

SECTION 3. Said section 4 of said chapter 94G, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “health” in line 274, the following words:- ; and (15) a prohibition on advertising, marketing and branding by means of billboards.

SECTION 4. Section 24 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “thereof”, in line 18, the following words:- ; and provided further, that advertising by means of billboards shall be prohibited.
