An Act to promote cost savings through the use of public water.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 29 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 71 the following section:-
Section 72. State funds shall not be used to purchase single-use plastic bottles containing 64 ounces or less of non-carbonated water for use in facilities that are served by public water supplies or potable well water, except when required for safety, health, or emergency situations.
