An Act to promote and advance motorcycle safety.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 34 of Chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “safety”, in line 7, the following words:-

; provided, however, that the registrar shall provide rebates of not less than $100 to persons under the age of 21 who successfully complete a motorcycle basic rider course approved by the registrar pursuant to Section 8 and that the total of such rebates shall not exceed 20 per cent of the funds so deposited.
