An Act relative to online driver education.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 32G of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after line 239 the following sentence:-

The registrar may approve a driver education curriculum presented in an online teaching format.

SECTION 2. Section 8 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended in lines 69 and 70 by deleting the following words:-

not less than 6 hours of observing another student driver
