An Act authorizing citizens in the town of Brookline who have reached the age of sixteen years or older to register and vote in municipal election with the town.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding sections 1 and 47A of chapter 51 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, any citizen in Brookline who has reached the age of 16 years or older may register and vote in municipal elections within the Town.

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its passage
