An Act relative to extending COVID-19 accommodations for municipalities in elections and for representative town meetings.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Chapter 92 of the Acts of 2020 is hereby amended by adding the following language in Section 7, 8, and 9 after the words "during the governor’s March 10, 2020 declaration of a state of emergency", wherever they appear:- or on or before June 30, 2021, whichever is later.

SECTION 2.  Chapter 227 of the Acts of 2020 is hereby amended by striking “March 31, 2021” in section 99 in lines 1510, 1518, and 1522 and replacing it where it appears with the following language:- June 30, 2021, or on or before the discontinuation of Executive Order No. 591, whichever is later.
