An Act prohibiting against age discrimination within the public schools.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Amend Section 5 of Chapter 76 by adding the sentence:
“No person admitted to a public school of any town shall be discriminated against in obtaining the advantages, privileges and courses of study of such public school on account of age.” after the sentence, “No person shall be excluded from or discriminated against in admission to a public school of any town, or in obtaining the advantages, privileges and courses of study of such public school on account of race, color, sex, gender identity, religion, national origin or sexual orientation.”
