An Act relative to authority on form of learning during a public health emergency.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 71 section 37 or any General or Special laws to the contrary, during a public health emergency the Governor shall maintain sole power and discretion with respect to the form of learning provided by district and regional school districts within the Commonwealth as a result of the public health emergency.
SECTION 2: Section 1 shall sunset no later than 30 days after the expiration of the public health emergency.
