An Act recognizing veteran status on ballots.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 41 of chapter 54 of the general laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the third paragraph the following words:-
To the name of a candidate for a state or municipal office who qualifies as a veteran, under the definition established in section 7 of chapter 4 of the general laws, there shall be added in the same space the words “Veteran”.
