An Act to authorize the acceptance of filing fees in lieu of signatures on nomination papers.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Title VIII. Chapter 53, Section 6 is hereby amended by adding the following words:
A fee of $1.00 shall be accepted in lieu of any number of signatures required on any nomination papers for any office.
Title VIII. Chapter 53, Section 44 is hereby amended by adding the following words:
A fee of $1.00 shall be accepted in lieu of any number of signatures required on any nomination papers for any office
