An Act to allow political parties to permit voters enrolled in other parties to vote in their primaries.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Title VIII. Chapter 53, Section 38 is hereby amended by adding after the following words:

"No voter enrolled under this section or section thirty-seven shall be allowed to receive the ballot of any political party except that in which he is so enrolled..."

unless the state committee of a political party submits a statement to the Secretary allowing voters enrolled in other, specified parties other than its own.
