An Act allowing parties to nominate candidates to their own primaries by additional means.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Title VIII. Chapter 53, Section 44 is hereby amended by adding the following words:

Political parties may make additional nominations of candidates to their own state primaries by means other than nomination papers, provided that the rules for such nominations be submitted to the Secretary no later than the first day that nomination papers are required to be available.
