An Act providing for the annual election of members of the Spencer East Brookfield Regional School Committee.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 14E of chapter 71 of the General Laws, the towns of Spencer and East Brookfield may annually elect members to serve on the School Committee of the Spencer East Brookfield Regional School District on the same date and time as the annual elections in each town; provided, however, that the members’ elections shall take place pursuant to the Regional Agreement between the towns of Spencer and East Brookfield.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
