An Act relative to increasing the annual stipend for members of the Commonwealth's Hazardous Material Response Team.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding subsection (m) of section 5 of chapter 21K of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the appropriation for the hazardous materials emergency response program in item 8324-0000 of chapter 227 of the acts of 2020 may be expended to pay stipends in excess of $3,000 to the members of hazardous materials mitigation emergency response teams.
