An Act regarding juvenile adjudications.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 10(d) of chapter 269 of the 2018 Official Edition of the General Laws shall be amended to add the following sentence to the end thereof:-
No person shall be considered to be convicted of a prior offence if it was an adjudication as a as a youthful offender, a delinquent child, or a like violation of the laws of another state, the United States or a military, territorial or Indian tribal authority for which a person was treated as a juvenile.
