An Act relative to the retirement allowance of Christopher Ahlborg.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, to determine Christopher Ahlborg's retirement allowance pursuant to chapter 32 of the General Laws, the state retirement board shall credit Christopher Ahlborg, an employee of the Massachusetts Environmental Police Department, with credible service for service he rendered to the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority from 2004 through 2013.

SECTION 2. Eligibility for this creditable service shall be conditioned upon payment by Christopher Ahlborg to the state retirement board, in a single sum or installments, of an amount equal to the contributions he would have paid to the state retirement board if he had been an active member during the time period specified in section 1, at the contribution rate when he joined the system plus actuarial assumed interest.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
