An Act relative to access to housing for first responders.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the office of MassHousing shall create a special home loan program for first responders in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required within a minimum distance from municipality they serve. Those eligible for this program must meet program income limits and live in the eligible home as the primary residents for the term of the loan and meet those additional requirements required by MassHousing.
