An Act relative to licensed providers.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 54B of chapter 71 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after paragraph 1 the following paragraph:-

Notwithstanding any general or special law or regulation to the contrary, nurse practitioners shall be permitted to approve a school’s policies and procedures as it pertains to the administration of medications, including psychotropic medications to children in school settings, in accordance with sections 7 and 9 of chapter 94C.
