An Act establishing a jury duty exemption for breastfeeding parents.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 4 of chapter 234A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

9. Such person is breastfeeding their child and indicates on a juror summons response an election not to perform juror service.
